The Lyricwiki is an interesting site. The users on the site can view, edit, and discuss the lyrics of songs, which are also available for purchase from links on the site. Some on the links are posted for the viewers to see and pick. This API has been leveraged to create plugins for many media players including Winamp, Windows Media Player, iTunes, and. musikCub.
The downside of LyricWiki is if your computer is slow you will not be able to view of listen to the music. The upside is music is free to access on line.
